From a young age, I have been fascinated by the natural sciences. I am the first in my family to pursue a medical career, later followed by my sister. I began my dental career in a general dental practice, which allows me to integrate my experience from other areas of dentistry into my daily work.
My interest in orthodontics stems partly from my own experiences and partly from the fact that this field of dentistry requires the most complex thinking, always offering new challenges and never becoming boring. For me, the most exciting part is planning new cases; I enjoy challenges, and solving more complex cases sometimes feels like a logical puzzle.
I particularly enjoy following surgical cases from start to finish and can even imagine this becoming my specialized focus within orthodontics in the long term. Additionally, I am very interested in the digital world, both professionally and in my free time. Because of this, my colleagues often rely on me to solve IT-related issues. In my work, it is important to me that patients understand why things are done and that I create a reassuring and confidential environment.
Another passion of mine is gastronomy. In my free time, I often participate in cooking courses, much to the delight of my family and friends. Recently, I also joined a cooking school where I assist when needed. In addition, I organize hiking trips around the country for my group of friends.
